Charley's SouthTown Tap opened its doors on SW 9th Street with one simple idea: a place where Des Moines can kick off their shoes, crack open a cold one, and actually relax. No dress code. No minimum. No waiting forever for food that tastes like it came out of a bag.

We pour what we'd drink ourselves — local craft on tap, solid spirits, and cocktails that don't take themselves too seriously. The kitchen runs all day because hunger doesn't keep business hours.
